6 Stage Reverse Osmosis Water Purification System 35 GPD
Stage 1) 5 micron polypropylene sediment pre-filter --- to extract suspended
materials such as sediments, insects, asbestos fiber, rust and particles down to
5 micron.
Stage 2) 1 micron polypropylene sediment filter (Well water configuration) Or
Same as stage 3. For municipal water.
Stage 3) 2nd Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) filter. This filter is designed to
absorb heavy chlorine and chlorine byproducts such as chloramine,
trihalomethanes THM, and TCE along with pesticides, industrial solvents
(halogenated hydrocarbons), polychlorinated byphenols (PCB's), radon gas and
other volatile organic chemicals. Its life is dependant on the amount of
polutants that come in contact with it.
Stage 4) High rejection 35 GPD (95-99%) Thin Film Composite (TFC) RO membrane to
reject wide spectrum of impurities including Total Dissolved Solids (TDS),
bacteria and viruses down to .0001 micron. The product water is stored in the
storage tank, while the reject water is automatically flushed down the drain.
Stage 5) In-line GAC filter to remove dissolved gases, bad taste and odour from
product water. This is the final polishing stage
Stage 6) In-line UV Lamp Sterilizer, stainless steel inner jacket, flow rate 1
GPM UV Light rated for 8000 hours

The filtration unit and storage tank mount
under your sink, out of sight. Water supply is gained by attaching a simple
saddle valve to your cold water supply pipe (copper or plastic). You will have
to drill a hole in your countertop or sink frame to attach the attractive
stainless chrome-plated faucet. It is a relatively easy do-it-yourself project,
or if you prefer, you can have it installed by a handyman or plumber. The unit
includes all installation hardware and a complete installation guide.
